Walter & Albert

These boys are the loves of my life.  Walter is the white bulldog, he is from Georgia.  Albert, the brindle, is from Arkansas.  They travel with me when I go to Georgia, the picture of them below was taken at Jekyll Island.  If you have seen two bulldogs riding around in a Radio Flyer wagon in Savannah, that was most likely Walter & Albert.  Savannah is a very pet friendly city, there are a lot of restaurants that allow dogs in their outdoor dining sections.

Georgia On My Mind

As you can see I love Georgia, especially Savannah and the Golden Isles.

Old Sheldon Church Ruins South Carolina

If you have never gotten the chance to visit the Old Sheldon Church ruins in Beaufort County, South Carolina I highly recommend seeing it.  It is definitely off the beaten path and so peaceful.  I took my two bulldogs, Walter and Albert, on a Sunday afternoon.

The church was first burned in 1779 during the Revolutionary War and then again, for the last time, in 1865 by General Sherman.  Inside the church are the remains of Colonel William Bull, who assisted General Oglethorpe with the layout of Savannah.
